Teacher - Vesna Vukusic
 |
Vesna is originally from the former Yugoslavia, and has a Bachelor of Music in Performance on the Vila from the University of Novi Sad.
She worked as a senior professor teaching violin, viola, cello and piano at the Stankovic Conservatory of Music in Belgrade. Her seven year tenure there also included teaching musical theory. She has truly world-wide experience and taught music in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. She played with the renowned Orchestra of Opera and Ballet in Belgrade from 1980 to 1983. Her performance is at the world class level. Vesna also performed as principal violist in the Orquesta Sinfonica National of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
She has performed solo recitals here in Toronto, as well as teaching at the Conservatory of Music. She currently teaches piano and strings with Carswell Studios and plays with the Oshawa Symphony.
