Teacher - Raylin Barnsdale
 |
A versatile singer, Raylin is classically trained in both voice and piano. She graduated from the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto in 2005, where she majored in voice. Raylin pursued further education at the University of Toronto, and received a Masters in Child Development and Education in 2007.
Currently, she teaches grades two and three French Immersion at Sheridan Park Public School in Mississauga. Throughout the year, Raylin performs in the Windmill Theatre “Cabaret Etoile” productions, which showcase a diverse array of repertoire and musical styles.
Before beginning her teaching career, Raylin was the soprano section lead and soloist at Knox Presbyterian in Toronto, the Varsity Blues National Anthem singer, a member of the Macmillan Singers and a part of the University of Toronto Women’s Chorus. A supporter of Arts Education, Raylin is also the former director of the music program at Camp U of T, and the former Junior Choir director at Knox Presbyterian.
She has recently joined the team at Carswell Music Studios. She is enthusiastic to be teaching and collaborating in an environment that fosters each student’s musical potential and talents, both technically and artistically. |
